Today? Satisfied!

I left 450ml of my "rare" blood at a transfusion station today. There are usually queues there on Fridays but not today! I was lucky, one moment I even had the whole big room for myself. I was fast, under 5 minutes, and as usual, I felt warm, lightheaded, useful and happy. As usual, I went back to work for a while but got stuck there. Of course, people usually use their right to go home after a donation - but my car is with my husband and the next bus went at noon - so I had my second coffee and some water and helped my boss with crowds of people in the library. She was grateful, I was satisfied and the library was full of laughter. Lovely!!
