Hurrrah, the electricity is back and I am back!
Yesterday at 10 p.m. a really strong wind swept over our village and close surrounding. It was really unexpected, it shouldl have been in Moravia. The noise was like a train speeding, then the light went and that was that. Fortunately, our new windows were flawless! I usually have decorative but functional candles in every room, so I lit them all. I had some work in the kitchen, I needed to finish egg spread, so I did it - then we went to bed. The blackout was caused by fallen trees and they managed to repair the line in the afternoon. Now we are to expect another windstorm...it is calm outside now but one never know!
Ïn such situation, powerless, one must think of the past - people lived without electricity, with petroleum lamps, or earlier with candles or torches. We, with all the equipment, when powerless, are helpless in a way. So I am glad our transmittor survived and the net works and i am back with you!
