Christmas presents
Dec. 25th, 2008 08:42 pmEncouraged by your examples, I would like to show you our Christmas tree and a small and bigl tables:
I received magic things from my family: a feet massager from my children - I will examine it tomorrow and I hope I will not be electrocuted but rewarded with a pleasant bubble bath:-):-)
Then a real English lavander bath cream bubble ...ahhh, I love lavander! and a huge bag full of various nuts and risins mmmmm and chocolate and Port Wine, all from my lovely brother.
A short parka with a hood made of artificial fur from my husband - I bought it myself, of course, it is light and warm.
From my English friend a pile of loooooovely things, a small photo frame with Sharpe´s portrait, an elegant pen, English carols on CD and a real miniature Christmas cake.
We ate carp soup and fried carp and rich potato salad with cranberry jelly, and drank beer and then some white wine and everyone tasted everything. Then all went to bed but I couldn´t sleep, I stayed by the Tree with Tygr and I sang him some carols and sent my love to all who are far away.
Merry Christmas to all!!!

on 2008-12-25 10:38 pm (UTC)Christmas delayed here till we can all dig out.
When??? not sure, depends on how long it takes for some
of the drifts to go away......side streets treacherous,
main roads okay.
Meanwhile, I am spending a quiet day here and going
next door to my neighbor for dinner.
I just baked some gingerbread to take.
