Season of flu

My family are down with a cold. We are the happier ones because this is just a light form without high fever and aches of joints. I have got only a cough, my husband has a runny nose, my son has got both and son-in-law is in bed with all this plus a fever. For an unknow reason I feel like eating all the time. I think I was supposed NOT to! :-)
In the towns people are ill and it spreads around. This flu epidemy comes every year in January/February. Schools are closed, visits to hospitals cancelled, even cinemas or theatres do not work. Whar is the worst place to catch a flu? Buses, trains, waiting rooms at the doctor´s and libraries. I myself must have caught it at work (library) from a naughty ill teacher, who kept caughing at me.
Fortunately the illness doesn´t spread via the internet, so YOU are safe!

The saying over here is Starve a cold and feed a fever but it doesn't mean you wont feel hungry just that you shouldn't eat. I hope the bugs don't hang round long or make repeat performances like the last flu bug we got, you thought you were well and a month later the symptoms came back. Get well soon.

The sun makes every thing better. And yes take your camera for a walk one day, there are indeed many beautiful and interesting places to see everywhere.

Ha, it doesn´t matter - I am hopeless, you know. And today I am almost all right again, so it WAS a common cold.

My family all had that one. It made me hungry too.

I just attended a committee meeting for Orbital by Internet so that I wouldn't spread the bug to the rest of the committee.

I hope you feel better soon. Take it easy and go on a guilt-free reading binge!

I agree with the others: it's a lovely icon! I believe LJ offers an easy-to-use service which crops photos to make icons.
