Bleak

Bleak weather, no more snow but a wet, dirty, slippery mess, now with the addition of fog. So unhealthy and chilly and very pessimistic.
I try to fight it with a frantic activity...cleaning. Tygr watches me scornfully and amuses himself by chewing his cardboard box .
Unfortunately I have got only the pics BEFORE he destroyed it.

This box is gone now! :-)

He is smiling with his eyes, he's a happy cat with his own box. The snow is melting rapidly here after last night's blizzard and we have cloudless blue skies but *oh boy it is cold*. At least we don't have the fog, but the rest of your description of the day is the same as ours. I am hugging the radiator again.

*Nods* They promise the end of this inversion and freezing.
I have already tried to stuff myself between the ribs (?) of a radiator - hahahaha, what an image!!! :-):-)

I'm sure destroying it gave him great fun!
And now you have to get him another one....

That's one contented cat. A cardboard box and a radiator, what more could he want?

And the snow is melting here as well.

Yes, he had fun. I will have to ask in a shop if they have an available box for His Majesty :-)

You do understand cat´s needs :-)
No deep freezing, I hope.

And I was hoping Jasmin and Ashley would stop eating cardboard when they grow up! I just swept up a pile of little bits they chewed off their 'play box'. I thought they were teething. [looks it up] Jasmin may be, and they say kittens enjoy chewing on plastic drinking straws, so I might try that as a toy.

And it can't be too bleak with a cat like Tygr in the house to make you (and us) smile.

Tygr is my sun, so to speak.
Well, there will be lots of cardboads for Jasmin and Ashley to destroy, Tygr is six and half now:-):-)

Vic's about that age.

Cats make everything better! Even when I'm depressed or sick, they make me smile and laugh.

Tygr looks very warm and comfortable in his box by the heater! And he is waiting not so patiently, I'm sure, for you to replace his box now that he's chewed it all to pieces. :-) The kits don't seem to like chewing on the boxes, although they do love to play 'hide-and-pounce' in them - one hides in the box and the other jumps in to pounce on them and then jumps back out before they get hit. It leads to lots of chasing around the apartment and then back to the box again. :-)
I hope you get some sunshine soon, to cheer up the dreary days!

They do like boxes, don't they? :)

And he does look so much like my little Lacey did...

Indeed, a kind of a miracle - the fog diappeared, I can see patches of blue sky and ...and it is minus 5°C. However better than that ugliness yesterday!
I had to laugh, readinf abour your playful kittens. Your apartment if full of activity and joy!

Awwww, cats and boxes! Especially boxes that are just slightly too small...

Sometimes too much activity! The dog hides in one of the bedrooms because if she lays in the bigger rooms, the kits jump over her while chasing each other - or sometimes accidentally run into her. :-)

Poor girl - they have no respect, don´t they?:-)
Our Tygr must be careful when Kendy the dog is nearby - Kendy is a real hunter and a cat killer!

YES! I think cats can sense your mood and work actually like the first aid in distress. Lately, Tygr "purred" me into sleep in such a situation.

They're often very comforting when people are ill too.
