Hurricane

I hope you all survived this terrible hurricane! It was really scarry and you feel suddenly very small and helpless watching Mother Nature´s angry face... After the floods in 2003 here in Czech Republic it is another horrible example of a natural disaster. We were fortunate enough, only some damage on the roofs in our village but our wonderful forests are badly damaged. It is really horrible.
I´ve seen topical documentaries from Britain and I am concerned about my friends.
At least one funny moment - our dog had a ride in his kennel accross the yard,no harm but he was so surprised - we took him home then!

Awww, poor dog! I'm glad you're OK. All my friends are, though some of them had damage to their roofs or walls.

We were lucky in the SW, it hardly touched us here. In London, they got it much worse.

It's this kind of thing that makes me so concerned about climate change - hurricanes will get worse as ocean surface temperatures rise.
