Not every day but as often as possible, I do my archery. Not more than 30 minutes, I return home from work after 6p.m. and had to do things about the house and feed the boys first.
But I love shooting more and more - and some progress is showing. It also helps a lot with relaxation. You can´t shoot without a great deal of concentration which is good, you can - or better must - switch off for those 30 minutes.

This is an old sand "quarry" I go to do my training. A blue plastic bag is my target, the distance is real ( about 22m)

One of better results

I also understand fully to "archer´s fingers" ...*Grins*

That's so cool, the bag looks so far away in the first picture, and it seems a lovely place to practice. My uncle has recently bought a bow and arrow, and become entirely obsessed. I'm really looking forward to having a go with it when he brings it up this summer.

You're getting really good! Heck, I can barely *see* the target.

That's a long way!

It sounds a good way to relax - as well as getting air and some exercise.

Hiya
Just letting you know that at 3:56 am June 21st - I will be celebrating the longest day of the year in my usual manner (taught to me by the Druids) It consists of receiting Gaelic poetry and song while dancing naked outside facing East as the Sun rises. It's a ritual i've observed for some yrs now even on The Hill of Tara, Co. Meath (The burial bounds of the Great High Kings of Ireland)
Feel free to join in even if only in thought & mind!

Alison
Aisling - as Gaelige!

Wow... that's a long distance!! So very cool that you have such a wonderful hobby. When I was a child, my siblings and I used to attend a sports summer camp and archery was one of the sports. I remember it being fun but also needing incredible patience (no, I don't have any! LOL ) and upper arm strength.
