We were LUCKY!!!

Today at half past two a.m. I was sitting in my bad, listening to a wild howling of the wind outside and a mad staccatto of the rain against  our new windows  and I said aloud:" WE WERE LUCKY!"
"What?" my husband murmured, " is it morning?"
I waited a nanosecond until he fell asleep, and I actually got up, went to the window and tested with my arm : THERE WAS NO DRAUGHT!
I returned to bed again, discovered Tygr on my duvet, sneaked under not to disturb him and fell asleep too.
Now it is still very windy, snow on its way and a drastic cold - they promise  minus 13°C!!! Well, we are prepared! (I hope). :-):-)

English Weekend

I literally ran here to ask you for your opinion: there is an English Weekend on the local radio and there will  be  a discussion about what is considered hilarious or at least funny in Britain. The audience are teenagers. One moderator asked me about my idea. To my chagrin Iam not able to formulate a proper answer. I had lots of hilarious moments with my friends or with you here but this I can´t use there...so what do you think? How can I make a Brit  collapse with laughter?
