Normally I whine early in the morning - I get up at 5 and now, in September, it is dark. As usual, Tygr the cat stepped in my face with a cold soft paw. He is a good substitution for an alarm clock! Yawning and cursing for myself i went to have a look what weather is ourside.
Ah. Pity I haven´t made a picture for you! Imagine a velvet indigo with fading stars still in the west, and golden-pink fingers of a rising sun which was still hidden somewhere behind the trees. You could see just the outline of the forest on the eastern horizon and layers of white thick fog in the meadows. Cold, fresh air. Gorgeous!
I almost missed the bus!
Mother Nature is kind to us here but what about you, who were given the hurricane or the floods?

No hurricane for me here! Some wind and lots of heat, but I needed to stay in and paint a bathroom today anyway, so I didn't look outside much.

Oh, that does sound so beautiful. I'm at five also but now my mornings are just becoming light. Luckily no hurricanes or floods here!

This is a magic of having friends all over the world: we can share even the mornings.:-)

I have seen that morning on the odd occasion if you substitute mountain for trees and valley bottom for meadows. It does almost make getting up that early worth while. This morning after 2 dry days, we have rain again with half the hill looking like a river. Luckily it's the half furthest away from the house, and at least the air is still, no wind to drive the rain into the nooks and crannies of your clothes , between buttons and zips to make your inside clothes wet too.

Am I glad to read your comment! Every day they report on the floods and victims on TV - I was worried. I hope the weather will settle finally. But knowing the Murphy´s Law, your pattern might well shift here...
And how is Losyn?

Very demanding, every time I go into his house he thinks I'm there to take him out walking, regardless of the time of day. After bouncing around like Tigger from Winnie the Pooh he goes and lies by the front door to ensure I don't go with out him and is very disappointed when I do. Beth is getting better, if she hadn't fallen over last week I would say she would have been well enough to take over for 2 days a week for short walks but she managed to sprain her ankle and that is keeping her off her feet more than her back. The poor boy won't be having a walk tomorrow, I have a motor way driving lesson with the teacher that got me through my test and after three hours of driving lesson I know I won't have the energy to take him out anywhere in the afternoon. Still it won't kill him to have a day off, but Heaven help me Thursday, he is going to be delierious with joy when I pick him up.

Yes, this is demanding and I suspect you are very close to a "stoic school" :-)
Ah, you might deal with Losyn´s energy - prepare a piece of wood and throw it for him many times - this alwys works with Badík.
An take care!

Oh yes that works well. Beth has also bought a ball thrower, which helps even a small person like myself throw a ball a long way(http://www.plutospets.com/ball-thrower-124-p.asp) and the walk consists of a drive to an open field and me standing in the middle of it throwing the ball all over the place until he gets tired and refuses to bring the ball back to me. He carries the ball back to the car and waits patiently until I catch up with him then we come home. he sits in the back with the ball between his paws and will only return it to me when we get in the house. He is just too tired to chase it if I take it into my head to throw it for him again before we reach home and some other dog gets it so he makes sure I can't. %)

Ah, the ballthrower! I saw this strange things in Scarborough, some peoople were walking two dogs and had this but I didn´t see to use it and I was really intrigued!I haven´t seen it here in a shop though!

Nothing here but summer heat, thankfully a bit cooler than the last few days. No rain, of course, and only evening breezes which cool the temperature after the day. We're beginning our terrible fire season--it lasts until January sometime. We'll hope there's no repeat of last year.

Oh, sounds lovely.

We've had blue sky for three days - I mean all-blue, not even the whispiest whisp of a cloud...
