Really, Mother Nature is FAST! Do you remember the snowdrifts here? All gone, maybe some remnants in forests and mainly in the north -situates places.
Of course there is lots of water. Our small pond you know so well is still frozen and will not do any harm. However the big Spolský pond is actually built as a reservoir and now is is full. The man who takes care of the pond (his title is "baštýř" - an ancient word) has to let the water flow from the pond through a special sluice to a canal which takes the water to the next pond which is connected with another one etc etc.
This medieval system is very sophisticated and very effective and is unique!
So we can hear a mass of water hum and there are flocks of wild ducks that arrived to live on free water. All this is a real promise of incoming spring! Really, it was sunny today and about 5-6°C. Good beginning. I hope. :-)
