I think spring got lost on its way to Central Europe. After a violent exchange of warmer and cold air, it is snowing again. The White covers the countryside. Not here in the town (so far). I know this weather is more or less normal for March but I watch your spring pictures and I want green grass and daffodils and all. My poor crocusses will be covered with snow too and the bees have to stay in their house. Snow is not so dangerous for the plants and bees but they forecast a deep drop of temperature at night, minus 5-6°C. Not good.
I need to finish my pruning and thousands of other things must be done outside. And our cattle are eager to go out in the pasture but a pasture without grass is not a pasture. (clever idea, clever me:-))
Tygr is annoyed, he returned from his early morning patrol with his paws cold and wet, leaving the prints on the floor. I had to give him his favourite soft cream cheeese - His Majesty was frustrated! :-)
Now I am at work, Thursdays are so long, I am here from 6.30 a.m. to 6 p.m. always, the opening time is longer because of people from distant places, the library is theirs...
So I bought a bunch of unbelievable cheap roses at the florist´s round the corner to please our souls. I have ALWAYS flowers on my counter!
And believe me, it works nicely - flowers and smiles!
FLOWERS AND SMILES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
