I promised to post some pictures to show you our library. It consists of three rooms and a corridor and it is crammed with more than 16.000 items of the materials in English. Being the British Centre, we really try to keep up the image!

Yes, it includes tapes, DVDs and CDs,and VHS.
We need at least one more room but there are none free for us...

Nice library, and if you think that is small, I will try to get in and take a picture of the library at Stow Hill where I used to work, It is about as big as your second room and IIRC held about 6,000 items.

Thank you so much! I have got 860 paying members with a card in the library. The membership is for a full year. BTW, the capacity of the library is 450 members. Sometimes I have 60-70 visitors a day!
If you don´t want to pay, you can study, listen and watch there whatever you like free of charge. Some people just drop in but there is so little space :-)

It looks a lovely place, with so many materials, and organised. But I see what you mean about needing more space - both for materials, and workspace, too, I imagine.

Do you have a lot of new items coming in, to add to the collection?

Good question. We buy twice a year and it is always a torture because our money is limited and I just want and need everything:-)
This time I will catalogue about 150 new items, I have finished with 50 recently. I need the materials for the updated Camridge exams but this will have to wait till December.*Moans* But first I will have to sort out the old ones which means horrible paperwork for the "powers".
