The elections are over! I am happy to announce that new President of the Czech Republic was elected Mr. Petr Pavel!!!
Now we ordinary people hope that those wild, dangerous and violent emotions will settle down. The defeated candidate and his supporters really managed to make a mess within our society...and people are very manipulative and the like "bread and circusses". Both our relatively new government and the new-to -be president (9th March is the inauguration) inherited a very difficult situation and weakened economy from the previous (Babiš´s!!!) government. I do hope they will be able to sail the wild waters safely...

Thank you very much for your kind words. You are so right about the situation! We have never experienced anything like that. At the end it looked somehow like the fight between the Good and the Evil... We are a small country, 10 million people...We do not like this violent, hostile and agressive style here.

I wish I could say we don’t like the violent, hostile, and aggressive style here, but ugh! Some people certainly do and seem to think that bullying others is ‘protecting freedom.’ It’s nasty and unpleasant and I wish it didn’t appeal to a segment of Americans but it does. :-(

Thank you. Yes, you expressed it well: it was a need indeed!!! Otherwise I can´t say, the time will tell because no one knows, people on this post are prone to "surprises" for people. However EVERYONE is better than Babiš...
